Founded by artist and cultural strategist Darryl Ratcliff, Gossypion is a cultural strategy and investment firm working at the intersection of art, community development, and capital.
Our practice grows from decades of making, organizing, and building with artists. We pair that lived knowledge with systems thinking, civic partnership, and financial imagination—because the people closest to culture should help shape the structures around it.

Darryl Ratcliff
Founder & Principal
An artist, cultural strategist, and systems builder connecting creative practice, community development, and new models of cultural investment. Darryl has helped lead the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's Missing Markets work in art and culture and is a CultureBanq Fellow. His honors include the Rabkin Prize, YBCA 100, the Dallas Museum of Art Awards to Artists, and two Nasher Artist Grants.
